Thistil Mistil Kistil is my ongoing long-form webcomic featuring Vikings and Norse mythology. It’s about a recently deceased teenager named Coal who struggles to learn what he really wants out of his afterlife.

A Norse Saga

Thistil Mistil Kistil started in 2009, and has been updating steadily ever since. There are over 500 pages available to read for free.

Coal died in battle, but before he can go on to the afterlife he feels he deserves, Odin returns him to the land of the living to complete a quest. Once finished, Coal can join the rest of the valiant warriors in Valhalla.

Unfortunately, he needs Loki’s help to do it.
